Worship

Join us Sundays at 11:00 AM for Holy Eucharist in English, led by our rector the Rev. Juan Pablo Valderrama, featuring our world class choir directed by Debra Matthew. A spiritual and musical experience not to be missed—everyone is welcome!

After each service we gather in the parish hall and at our beautiful garden for a relaxed coffee hour. Our community brings together people from many backgrounds—both international and local—creating a welcoming space for friendship, thoughtful exchange, and shared faith.

Founded in 1967 as a spiritual home for American expatriates, Saint Mark’s Anglican Church has grown into a diverse, bilingual, and international congregation. As part of the Anglican Church of Mexico are committed to an inclusive expression of faith that honors the dignity of every person.
We celebrate the richness of God’s creation in every individual and affirm that all are children of God, called to serve, seek justice, and live in community. Through worship, prayer, and service, our congregation nurtures faith, encourages meaningful dialogue, and supports one another in living out the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Whether you are new to the area, exploring your faith, or seeking a church home, you will find a place here to belong, to connect, and to deepen your relationship with God.

What We Believe In

  • We believe in  God the Almighty Father and in his only Son Jesus Christ our Lord and in the Holy Spirit who proceeds from the Father and the Son.

  • We believe in the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation with our Lord, who lovingly waits for us to return to Him.

  • We believe in One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

  • We believe that it is our duty to proclaim by example the word of The Lord, and to seek and serve him in all people, loving our neighbour as ourselves, for which we declare ourselves in favor of peace, justice, and respect for the dignity of every human being.

  • We therefore believe in the full equality of men and women , so we find no arguments that prevent the ordination of women to the priesthood which is why our clerics are women or men committed to their pastoral mission.
